Where your skills meet competence and creative freedom in an internationally oriented environment? Here at Nanotec! We have come a long way with the development of the first engine with an embedded controller and are now known for our strong R&D capabilities. Our customers demand the highest standards in the design and manufacture of drive solutions and we deliver them worldwide.
Today, our broad product portfolio is used primarily in Industry 4.0, industrial automation, laboratories, medical technology, packaging and semiconductor manufacturing. In an ambitious team where more than 250 employees from over 20 countries share their ideas and views every day. A team where people support each other and everyone enjoys the trust and recognition they deserve.
For our development center we are looking for an electronics engineer.

What are your daily activities

•  Designing schematics and multi-layer PCBs for motion control systems (MCU-based boards, sensor interfaces, communications, safety).
•  Development of power converters (DC/DC, motor drivers, gate drive, protection) with EMC/EMI compliance in mind.
•  Designing automated test equipment (ATE) for validation and manufacturing.
•  Creating clear design documentation (requirements, reviews, BOMs, test plans).
•  Defining verification tests with the Hardware VV team; supporting bring-up, debugging, and ensuring compliance.
•  Designing with EMC and safety in mind (layout practices, isolation, creepage/clearance) and supporting pre-compliance checks.

What we would expect from you

•  Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Automation Engineering (or similar).
•  Solid knowledge of industrial electronics and embedded hardware.
•  Proficiency with Altium Designer.
•  Experience with Jira (or similar).
•  Very good command of English.

What is nice to have

•  EMC: practical design and troubleshooting for emissions/immunity (CISPR/EN, EN 61000-4-x), pre-compliance testing, filtering/shielding/layout for noisy motor drives. (Strong advantage)
•  Safety: experience with IEC 61010, IEC 60601-1, UL/CE, creepage/clearance, isolation strategies, risk analysis (FMEA). Exposure to functional safety (ISO 13849 / IEC 61508) is a plus. (Strong advantage)
•  Experience with motor control, isolated power, DFM/DFT, and common lab gear (scopes, analyzers, loads, thermal and pre-compliance tools).
